From the War Room to Rockefeller Center!
Former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice will make a guest appearance on 30 Rock this season, reports Politico.com.
Rice, 56, will be playing an ex-girlfriend of Alec Baldwin's character, network executive Jack Donaghy, Tina Fey told reporters Thursday.
During the NBC hit's first season, Donaghy claimed he had dated a "high-ranking African-American member of the Bush Administration," but said he split with his "neocon inamorata" because they weren't compatible.
This won't be the first time Fey, 40, has worked with a GOP star. She famously spoofed Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live during the 2008 presidential election, and riffed alongside the former Alaska Governor when Palin guest starred on the show.
Still, when asked if she would consider running for office herself, Fey scoffed, "No way, that's for suckers."
There is one cause, the Bossypants author does get riled up about — making sure her Emmy-winning costar, 53, keeps people laughing.
Says Fey, "I would lobby Capitol Hill for a law to require Alec Baldwin to stay in show business."
