Kristen Stewart is locking lips with another New Moon costar -- Dakota Fanning.

"Yes, it happens in The Runaways," Fanning told Access Hollywood of the pair's other film venture together. "We were so into the scene and into the script and the characters."
Fanning, 15, said the kiss was a passionate one.

"We're playing Joan Jett and Cherie Currie and they're best friends in the film and became really close in real life," Fanning said of their roles in the film, which will be released next year. "And that’s something that went down back in the '70s."
The former child star has said their characters' relationship "is kind of the one that Kristen and I have in real life," adding that she and Stewart, 19, bonded immensely while filming both movies back-to-back.

Since it is in 4 years technically it is not statutory rape. Since they didn't have sex it's not statutory rape. They were kissing, I've seen worse at sleepovers.
I think CPS is a good decision. Dakota's only 15. If she starts doing things like this right now. She might end up like Britney Spears or Lindsey Lohan. Why do young girl actors think they have to go wilder and wilder. They make such crazy decisions when their young before they really have their adult mind to think what they are doing and they really mess their life up.

It doesnt matter that this is "acting". People will do anything these days to "act" and don't have a care in the world whether or not they do something extremely racy. It's pathetic. This is a TEENAGER! Sure, people do this in real life, and you know, its just sad. People seem to lack any sense of boundaries, morals, and ethics.
I think that they made a great choice for the new moon cast. I was so glad to see that Ms. Fanning was apart of it. I have read all the books and am dying to see the movie.

What's USmagazine's fascination with weird $exual stories these days? First it's Kate and A$$rod 'loving' $ex together, then Ryan O'Neal and ince$t and now Dakotah and Kristen in some weird lesbian relationship. It's the way these stories are written -- very immature and trying to get a rise out of readers. I think there's a lot that was left out of this story -- or quotes taken out of context and pasted together to make this seem like something it isn't.
