Johnson, 42, shared a sneak peek preview of his totally amazing pop star moment via Instagram on Sunday, March 15, in which he channels his inner female pop sensation to perfection, giving Swift’s hit single everything he’s got, and then some!
Dressed in black, and showing off his impressive muscles, Johnson is word perfect in front of a bright pink backdrop as he mouths the words to Swift’s mid-song rap. But it’s not just the little jumps and the cheeky little OMG faces that make this performance unforgettable — turns out The Rock can really shake it!
Johnson will be joined by a host of other stars such as Chrissy Teigen and Jimmy Fallon when Lip Sync Battle, hosted by LL Cool J, premieres on Spike on Thursday, April 2.
Other stars signed up to take part in the series include John Krasinski, John Legend, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt!
“This show to me is the coolest show on the planet,” LL Cool J told Us Weekly. “We’ve got every type of music, we’ve been having a ball making the show. These superstars on the stage, they go all out, balls to the wall. I saw Mike Tyson do ’Satisfaction’ by the Rolling Stones the other day!”
