British actress Emily Blunt’s big break came in 2006 when she starred as a callous magazine assistant opposite Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada. She also continued her work as a British television actress on the show Gideon’s Daughter, which won her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2007.

Blunt went on to appear in The Jane Austen Book Club (2007), Charlie Wilson’s War (2007), Sunshine Cleaning (2008) and the independent period drama, The Young Victoria (2009), for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress.

She expanded her career throughout the 2010s by appearing in a slew of films, including Disney’s adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical Into the Woods (2014), the crime thriller Sicario (2015), The Huntsman: Winter’s War (2016), Mary Poppins Returns (2018) and her husband John Krasinskis 2018 horror flick, A Quiet Place. She returned in the same role for the 2020 sequel, A Quiet Place Part II.

The actress dated Canadian singer Michael Bublé from 2005 to 2008. Shortly thereafter, she met Krasinski via a mutual friend and the pair began dating. The Office actor popped the question about a year later in 2009. The couple wed in a private, outdoor ceremony held at the Villa D’este in Como, Italy, in July 2010. They welcomed daughters Hazel in February 2014 and Violet in June 2016.
