Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast movie is in rehearsal! And the cast, including Emma Watson and Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens gave us a sneak peek behind the scenes with this awesome selfie!
"Can’t wait for you to be our guest,” Josh Gad captioned the pic (in a nod to the musical soundtrack), which he shared via Instagram on Tuesday, April 14, showing himself posing alongside Watson, Stevens, Kevin Kline, and Luke Evans as they ham it up on the set of the much anticipated film.
Harry Potter alum Watson announced her attachment to the film back in January, and spoke to Total Film recently about her excitement for the role.
"I've never had to [sing] for a film before, and I think people will be interested to see me do something very different like that," she told the publication. "It gives me a different challenge, really. That's terrifying in and of itself!"
On Monday, April 13, it was announced that Sir Ian McKellen would be joining the already-stellar lineup for Disney's adaption of the classic fairy tale, starring as Cogsworth, the witty grandfather clock that serves Stevens’ Beast. McKellen joins Emma Thompson, Audra McDonald, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw who have alerady been cast.
Due out on March 17, 2017, Beauty and the Beast is just one of many animation reboots that Disney has in the works for the coming years. Live-action plans are also being eyed for Mulan, The Jungle Book, and Dumbo.
