Faith Evans' Charity Crusade for Japan

Entertainment May. 6, 2011 AT 1:43PM

Faith Evans is used to being a survivor herself (after all, she made it through the death of ex-husband The Notorious B.I.G. and a recent DUI bust), but now she's really doing her thing to help others survive.

The honey-voiced R&B diva is partnering with L.A.-based Compartes Chocolates to donate $50,000 of their famed Love Nuts candies directly to the shelters housing victims of Japan's tsunami and earthquake.

Take a bite out of Evans and Compartes owner Jonathan Grahm talking about their mission above.
