Farrah Fawcett was left out of the Oscar tribute to those in the film industry who died last year.

While the actress -- who passed away in June at age 62 after battling cancer -- was mostly known for her TV role in Charlie's Angels. But she did appear in multiple movies, including The Cannonball Run, Extremities and The Apostle.

See what the stars wore to the Oscars!

Twittered Star Jones, "FYI...Farrah had a very diverse career...that included Broadway, TV & Film. She even received a Golden Globe nom."

Golden Girls' star Bea Arthur, who died last April at the age of 86, was also left out of the tribute.

Oh, Michael had "this is it". Well Farrah did a documentary on her cancer. Wouldn't that have fell in same catagory? Also, her documentary problem helped millions of people suffering with cancer seeing a beloved icon face it fearlessly and with all the hope she could muster. She should have been remembered at the Oscars.

Congressional politics not only has much in common with Hollywood politics, they both have the same features and repercussions. So it goes with IT girl Farrah being snubbed.

I agree w/wonka & Yvon, the decision maker shouldn't have left out both Farrah and Bea. They were wonderful actresses!

  • March 10, 2010 - 12:39pm wonka

I can think of about a least half a dozen Farrah Fawcett movies. That was an ignorant ommission.

I do not unedrstand why Michael Jackson was included in a memoriam for actors. Farah Fawcet and Bea Arthur were terribly missed. I would like to see the names of the people who made this awful decision.

Michael Jackson was not an actor. He was a child molesting freak of nature and shouldn't have been included. Farrah and Bea both deserved to be included. They only included MJ to be politically correct and appease all the Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson worshipers. If they hadn't they would have raised a lot more hell than we are right now.

chris why are you saying she died because of karma.Nasty. What if someone u love gets killed in a car accident or gets cancer that means it is carma? U deserve carma for saying that about FArrah.

i think it's sad that you people are upset that farah didn't get included by saying michael didn't deserve to be, but yet don't you see you all are contradicting yourselves. and yes Michael was an actor, and if he wasn't included it just wouldn't have been right. i'm 18 and i didn't even know who farah was until someone mentioned she died on the same day as mj

  • March 08, 2010 - 3:52pm whatever

Much respect for MJ's music but he wasn't an actor...if this were the Grammy's or the AMA's or whatever fine...but Bea Arthur and FF should've been in this tribute, seriously

  • March 08, 2010 - 2:58pm anonymous

Farrah was forgotten in the media and the industry the day she died because Michael Jackson (a bigger name) died a few hours later. It is so sad that, even in death, it is a popularity contest with the entertainment industry. These people are so backwards, it's not even funny.

I noticed this too, how horrible, BUT they did include stupid Michael Jackson in the memorial tributes, and he WASN'T even an actor! What a joke. Pathetic film industry.

  • March 08, 2010 - 1:46pm Jen

What did leaving Farrah and Bea out do for the tribute exactly? did they have a time limit? I realize that Farrah and Bea were in more t.v and broadway roles than movie roles but they still deserved to be in the tribute. If your so called "friends" snubb you like that, who needs enemies

  • March 08, 2010 - 1:34pm Sabrina

Bea Arthur definitely should've been included: she was a veteran actor of both stage and screen. Shame on the academy for slighting her...along with Farrah, too!

  • March 08, 2010 - 1:21pm rae

henry can you please go fall in a hole. MJ WAS THE BEST! HE DESERVED TO BE IN THE TRIBUTE! obviously many people including those who wrote the list thought so, so in other words nobody cares about your opinion!

Oh Kim....grow a brain will ya? Ever hear of self-tanners? How stupid.

Kim, you are a bimbo and your comment says more about you than it does anyone else...out of all the things to say. you chose that comment and it shows what a bimbo you truly are. How do you know when and where that picture was taken and if she had a tanning bed tan...what difference does it make in the context of this article. I'll bet you are an old witch whose pastime is gossip...shut up bimbo
