With the success of Valentine's Day, Us Weekly's Bradley Jacobs is exploring the origin of the ensemble romantic comedy, which has netted an impressive $90 million at the box office since its Feb. 12 debut.

Jacobs traces the genesis for this year's smash all the way back to the mid-90s New York Observer column that ultimately became the Sex and the City books, TV series and film franchise. A related silver screen influence? He's Just Not Into You, the successful 2009 rom-com featuring Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson and Ben Affleck, which Jacobs says was too overstuffed with talent for its own good.

Check out the winter's hottest on-screen hunks.

I guess not because of Jessica Biels acting skills! Probably was it because of the many relationships in that movie. Everyone is looking for LOVE or are desperate because of their bad relationship experiences and it is a little therapie.
