Michelle is a busy gal! As previously reported, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not appear on Netflix's Fuller House, but Us Weekly has exclusively learned how the absence of their character, Michelle Tanner, will be explained.

A show insider tells Us that Fuller House characters will mention that Michelle is now living in New York City and working on creating her fashion empire. This is a not-too-subtle reference to the Olsen twins' real lives, as both reside in the Big Apple, where they head up such fashion lines as The Row and Elizabeth and James.

The source also reveals that one Fuller House episode features the series' characters prank-calling Michelle by saying, "You got it, dude!" This was Michelle's adorable catchphrase from Full House, which ran for eight seasons before bowing out in May 1995.

Fuller House landed an initial 13-episode pickup and centers on D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), who is recently widowed and raising three sons. Her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and pal Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move into her San Francisco home to help raise the kids.
