New Details About Britney Spears' Glee Episode!

Now that an all-Britney Spears episode of Glee has been confirmed for next season, the show's creator Ryan Murphy spilled a few details at a Comic Con press conference held Sunday in San Diego.

"We haven't started shooting yet," Murphy said. "We start shooting our new second season on Wednesday. All I can say is that we're doing six Britney songs."

Naturally, airhead cheerleader Brittany (Heather Morris) will be the narrative focus of the special episode. "I sort of don't want to say what we're doing yet because it's not airing until September," Murphy teased, "but we're paying tribute to her in a fun and unexpected way."

And what about actor Matthew Morrison -- who famously bashed the Britney-episode concept to Us months ago? His character, Mr. Schuester, will  "refuse" to do Britney songs in the episode. "The entire episode is Schuester saying, 'I don't want to do Britney! I don't want to do Britney!' We're doing it in a really fun, hallucenogenic way," Murphy said.

Emmy-nominated writer/director Murphy was mum on rumors that the "Womanizer" superstar will appear as herself in the episode. "I can't say," he told reporters. "Isn't that terrible? That will launch 1,000 stories!"

But Britney's most famous ex definitely won't be making a cameo. Murphy shot down chatter that Justin Timberlake was set to show up on the FOX hit. "That’s not true. I don’t know where that started...But I think he's a phenomenal talent. If we did do something like that, I think it would probably be down the line. But I think he would be the younger brother of Matt Morrison without question. He looks like Matt."
