She's only 9, but Rubina Ali has already starred in Slumdog Millionaire, which won eight Oscars. So now she's writing a memoir.

See what stars wore to the Osars.

But the book -- to be released in the UK mid July -- will chronicle her story of growing up in the Mumbai slums instead of her rise to fame. "Rubina brings alive a world of wastelands and rat-infested shanty dwellings, and shows us her home, a wooden shack with a tarpaulin roof, where she grew up with her beloved father and siblings," said a statement released by Transworld Publishers.

(Her father, Rafiq Qureshi, was investigated, and later cleared, by police for trying to sell his daughter for $300,000.)

Proceeds from the tome, Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars, will be donated to Ali and Medecins du Monde, a French medical aid organization.
