Jacob Lusk Eliminated on American Idol

Jacob Lusk had a good run.
The 23-year-old singer was voted off American Idol on Thursday. Joining him in the bottom two? A teary-eyed Lauren Alaina, 16.

"I got to share a little bit with America, and I think America's fallen in love with me," Lusk said after Ryan Seacrest delivered the bad news. "Now I can go and put out that good-feeling R&B music that reminds you of Luther [Vandross] or those great old singers."

The four remaining contestants -- Alaina, rocker James Durbin, 22, country crooner Scotty McCreery, 17, and bluesy Haley Reinhart, 20 -- have just two weeks left to prove themselves before the May 26 finale.
