Janice Dickinson: America’s Next Top Model Is Rigged!

There's been a lot of controversy surrounding America's Next Top Model: All Stars since Wednesday's finale, and former panel judge Janice Dickinson isn't just standing quietly on the sidelines.
"CoverGirl are the ones who choose the model -- not any of the judges. People don't know that!" the former supermodel says in an interview on Janice TV at FilmOn.com. "When I found that out, I split. It's rigged!"

Dickinson, 56, continued: "The fact of the matter is [Tyra Banks] makes like $90 million. She makes a lot of money per year still hawking that franchise worldwide -- they're doing it in every country -- and it's CoverGirl who chooses the winner." She then signed off on the interview by shouting "F*** you Tyra! Eat a bag of royal skank!"
Countering Dickinson's comments about the show and CoverGirl, ANTM's network, The CW, tells Us Weekly, "This is completely untrue."

On Friday, Dickinson, who served on the panel of judges from Seasons 1-4, reiterated her thoughts on Tyra and the show to Us. "Yes, I have a distaste for her. In America you say the truth. On TV you can fabricate it but eventually we all find out."

On Wednesday's show, contestant Lisa D'Amato was named the first winner of America's Next Top Model: All-Stars, but her crowning moment was nearly overshadowed by fellow contestant Angelea Preston's shocking dismissal.
Though Preston competed in Greece alongside D'Amato and Allison Harvard during the final runway challenge, she did not appear before the judges in L.A.
The CW later explained that it "learned information that made Angelea ineligible," forcing them to disqualify her from the competition. "As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale."
Though rumors swirled that Preston had won the competition and spilled the beans on Facebook (thus violating her confidentially agreement), D'Amato told Us on Friday that "sounds absurd."

Janice Dickinson is a dried up, old hag. When the show first started and they said Janice was a Supermodel, I was like, who? Seriously. Cheryl Tiggs. Cindy Crawford. Andi McDowell. Christy Brinkley. Janice Who? Bitter much, Janice?
By the way, if "Cover Girl" is offering a $100,000.00 contract with the winning model, shouldn't they decide who gets the job? Duh!!!!!!!!!! Janice is a blooming idiot. And what does Tyra's money have to do with anything? Could you be jealous Janice?
If Janice quit as she claims, why such hostility. There is nothing but hatred towards Tyra from the way it sounds. I think that she was fired because she is a real you b----. She always tried to control the show. She even ruined her own show. Grow up Janice. It's not about you anymore.

If Janice wasn't so drugged out and washed out I would believe her. But she is which why i am very skeptical of her claims. We haven't heard her name in the media for a while so i'm wondering if this is to keep her name relevant in the media.

Janice Dickinson may be washed up, but she's a loud mouth that speaks the truth. Who is surprised that that show is rigged? Yeah, not me. Every reality show out there, save for maybe COPS (who was actually kicked out of KC for a while for trying to instigate fights for cameras, so maybe not even them) is scripted and manipulated in one way or another. If not, they would be boring and people would eventually move on.
Janice Dickinson is an old washed up nag! She will do anything to get attention. It is sad that she won't allow the young models have their time of glory. She has tried for soooo many years to keep ahold of the riegn. I hated when she was judge, she only had negitive comments to say about every girl. Being negitive all the time most likely got her booted from ANTM and she did not like that they did not want her anymore. Plain and simple. She is not fooling America or any other country. To see her face so full of rage was funny, you could see her plastic washing off her wrinkled face and body...tee hee..

Of course Cover girl would choose the model! They are the ones signing them on! They do have some say in who represents cover girl.

This does not change my opinion about the show. I still love it! I bet Janice was so furious her face started melting.
