Jen Aniston Fails to Drum Up Ratings for Cougar Town

Jen Aniston's buzzed-about guest-starring role on Wednesday's Cougar Town didn't drum up ratings for the ABC sitcom.
Around 12.6 million viewers watched the season premiere of the Emmy award-winning Modern Family -- a successful bow.

A large chunk of those viewers didn't stick around 30 minutes later to watch Aniston, 41, reunite with Courteney Cox on Cougar Town.
According to estimates, 8.3 million viewers watched the show, which featured Aniston as a shrink.
It placed third in its timeslot.

Last year's series premiere drew 11.4 million viewers.
Lately, Aniston has been in the doghouse. ratings-wise.
Her last big screen comedy, The Switch, flopped, grossing just $8.1 million its opening weekend in August.

Why would people think having Jennifer Aniston on the show was going to boost the ratings? Seems they are trying hard to keep a boring show on a little bit longer. If anything, they probably just jinxed themselves by having her on. See Ya Cougar Town! Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I watched it and she totally sucked big time!!!!! The show is pretty funny and entertaining and doesn't need her or her large ego to boost ratings. Really, she was awful and not funny at all!!!! If she were to become a regular, I would stop watching the show.
