J.Lo is cementing her MILF status on film! The ageless singer and actress has signed on to her next film project, a comedy called Mothers I’d Like To….
No, we’re not leaving off that last word. Deadline reports that Universal Pictures has picked up the pitch, and though few details are being released at this time, the site notes “it’s Bridesmaids meets First Wives Club.”
Considering Lopez, 45, is mom to 7-year-old twins Emme and Max and has a body that won’t quit, this new film seems right up her alley.
Mark Perez (Herbie Fully Loaded) is penning the script, while the “Feel the Light” singer will star and produce the film through her Nuyorican Productions company along with partners Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
This is the same production team that brought 2015’s thriller The Boy Next Door, which raked in a worldwide box office gross of $48 million. In the flick, Lopez played Claire, a mom and teacher who has a steamy affair with her obsessive teenage neighbor (Ryan Guzman). We’re sensing a theme here.
No news yet on when the film will be released.
