Jessica Simpson Opens Up About John Mayer's Sex Talk

Jessica Simpson is finally opening up about John Mayer's raunchy Playboy mag comments.
"I don't want people to know how I am in bed!" Simpson, 29, laments in an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show to air Wednesday.

Mayer likened his ex girlfriend -- whom he split from in 2007 after about a year of dating -- to "crack cocaine" and "sexual napalm" in the March issue of the lad mag. He later apologized for being "an a--hole."

Simpson also admitted she struggles with criticism of her weight.
"It's a really hard thing for me to talk about," the clearly upset reality star (her show, The Price of Beauty, debuts March 15 on VH1) tells Oprah.

"You were a size 4 and people were calling you fat?" the talk show host, 56, says in disbelief, referring to infamous mom jeans Simpson wore to a chili cook off in January 2009.

I think she looks great. Better than looking like someone like Kiera Knightly. John was an a-hole for saying what he did and I hope he appologized to her personally. Some of you commenters are ridiculous saying she should make music when most people in the world critisize her music. It's her life so let her do what she wants. At least she's not out partying 24/7, drinking and doing drugs like most celebs. I think Jess is an all around good girl. Leave her be!

She had to respond to his comments, Joan. She wants the tabloids to keep talking about it. Her career is to make sure her personal life is tabloid fodder.

Baddigio and Terry are right. Mayer and the Simpsons planned the "sexual napalm" comment to promote Jessica. The Simpsons are the ones who keep bringing up her weight too. Joe remembers all that publicity she got when she displayed her fat rolls in concert. I'm so sad Oprah is letting these snake oil salesmen continue their pr stunt on her show. I won't watch that day.
