Best friends forever? Hardly.

After spending nearly six months together in Florence, Italy, and Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the Jersey Shore cast needed a break -- especially from Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

"We got sick of each other," Jenni "JWoww" Farley admitted during a recent visit to Us Weekly's New York City offices. "It's good to have your time apart and do your own thing."

After stirring the pot on Season 5 of the MTV hit, Sorrentino quickly realized that his fellow castmates want nothing to do with him.

"Mike has been crying lately that nobody likes him and he has no idea why, but I do recall hitting him the first season and I did not hit him for no reason," Farley explained. "He puts himself in this position, and I'm kind of glad that he's getting a reality check that he can't get away with what he does to his roommates."

"For so long he's played 'the villain,' but people were always on his side," Farley, 25, added. "People are starting to realize sometimes he's not a good guy and he needs to take responsibility for that."

Said costar Nicole "Snooki Polizzi, 24: "Mike definitely likes the drama. . . it's just like high school. He's 32 years old. When are you gonna grow up?"
