Kate Gosselin: My Kids Are "Excited" to Be on TV Again

Clad in a short black cocktail dress with silver embellishments and black strappy high-heel sandals, Kate Gosselin spoke about her upcoming TLC show, Twist of Kate, at the Discovery Communications' NYC Upfront Thursday.
Reading from a teleprompter, she told the crowd she is "excited" to "share with you the next chapter in my life." The show, which debuts this summer, will follow the single mother, 35, as she raises her eight children, as well as profile other women who are also in their own challenging situations.
Where did the concept come from?
"Every day I hear from women across the country who have incredible stories but are overwhelmed with their lives, asking me for advice on everything from potty training to organization," the current Dancing With the Stars disaster explained. "None have asked for dancing advice, however. Just thought I'd add that.

"So on my new show Twist of Kate, I'm going to spend a few days in their lives experiencing their challenges firsthand and lending a helping hand and maybe even some time off," she went on.
As for her own kids, Gosselin said she's "thrilled" to announce they'll be returning to TV. For some specials this year, she said they'll be "taking some fun trips and having some great adventures. They're very excited."

454I know alot of people hate Kate. WHY, I don't know. The womqn is divorced with 8 kids to support ON HER OWN, because her lazy ass husband doesn't have a job, so he doesn't give her anything!! I'd still rather watch her and her kids than those "Two breeding rabbits" the Duggars!!! How come no one acuses THEM of exploiting their litter of 19?! I think they are disgusting, SHE can't keep her legs together, and HE can't keep it in his pants!! I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear the news flash in the near future that number 20 is on the way!!! (I do hope however that the INNOCENT little one will be all right), though I am really surprised that there ween't any problems until number 19! Amazing good luck. Does "Jim Bob" have a real life job (or does he spend ALL of his time "Playing House?" They probably make a fortune off their show, so he can afford not to work a reguler job. And again, I guess it is o.k. for these 19 kids to be on T.V. because their name is Duggar, Not Gosselin!!!

It's Thursday night and Kate is still in LA. She hasn't been home since Saturday. And she won't be home again til at least next Wednesday but doubt she will be home then. She really doesn't like being with those children, it's quite obvious. What a mom, you SUCK Kate!!

All you people sit there and judge her like you actually know whats going on in her life! Funny thing is, you have no idea what she does on a day to day basis. Nobody is pointing out the fact that Jon is running around like a 17 year old pervert and not even being with his kids!! As least she is doing something to better her life and provide for her children's future. Big deal she is on tv, there are a ton of actors and actresses that are on tv that have children and they don't get hated on. Grow up and look into your on life and see why you have to take time out of it to say mean and hurtful things about somebody that you don't even know. Seriously it's time to just let her live her life as she sees fit!!
She says her children are excited about the new show. Huh! Yeah right. Who's more excited Kate, the kids, or you and TLC? I smell fat cash for the fat cat. This woman is a demon. I don't like watching her on interviews...all she does is whine and complain. I guess I just don't understand why she risked having all those kids at one time (she should be thankful that each one turned out healthy) and then seems to do anything not to be with them. Honesty, Face it!, I don't think she likes being a mother. It's really sad, because in the end it's those innocent kids who are going to suffer. Kate really should be ashamed of herself. If she had any integrity, she would just go home and be a real mother.
she isn't a nice person lucy. people who live near her has said it. she will drop and drop hard. and her kids will grow up to hate and despise her as well. especially colin. he will be the most messed up, because it is pretty obvious she hates him the most. if someone offered her a good price she would sell those kids in a heartbeat. she is just a fame ho, whose time will end shortly
I can't even imagine this show being remotely interesting...and I don't quite understand how a woman whose claim to fame is having a bunch of kids is a "star." I think once she had those kids, and once she got into the "limelight" she decided she'd rather be a celibrity instead of a Mommy. However, since it's the "mommy" part that brought her this new found fame, she has to keep up the pretense as if she is doing this all for the kids. I think most intelligent folks would see that she is doing it all for "Kate" and the free stuff she is getting. I don't think she is a very nice person.
