Kellie Pickler to Make Acting Debut on 90210

Kellie Pickler has been bitten by the acting bug!
The 25-year-old singer and American Idol alum will make her small screen debut on the upcoming fourth season of 90210.

Pickler will play Sally, the country-singing cousin of local cowboy Austin (Justin Deeley). She will perform her new single, "Tough," during the episode.

"My zip code growing up was a long way from 90210, so it will definitely be acting," Pickler told Us Weekly in a statement Monday. "I'm really excited and a little bit nervous about it, but will be a fun and unique place to perform 'Tough.'"

Pickler joins previously announced guest stars Brandy and Theophilus London.
The fourth season of 90210 premieres September 13 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
