Kendall Jenner Embarrassed by Kris Jenner's Lavish Sweet 16 Party Plans

Unlike her big sister Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner isn't comfortable making a tremendous to-do over special occasions.

In Kendall's Sweet 16 special Monday night, the fledgling model snapped when her mom, Kris Jenner, tried to relocate her birthday bash to the Bahamas.
"You're trying to make this bigger and bigger and it's embarrassing me," Kendall complained. "You're just giving me this [over-the-top party], you're just handing me this and I don't want it!"

Fortunately for Kendall, Kris backed down with the party plans and agreed to throw the teen's bash at a West Hollywood hotel. And while she did get a Range Rover from her mom and dad Bruce Jenner, Kendall insisted that in lieu of gifts, her guests donated toys to sick children at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

"For my mom to be like, 'Oh, we're going to have this huge, extravagant party,' and to think those kids can't even go to a party because they're sitting in a hospital bed, it's just really sad," she explained.

Its nice to see that she is her own person:) Having a moral compass and showing that she does think of others shows character. Obviously, fame changes ppl, and its nice to see her not trying to go WAY overboard with her 15 min of fame. I think she will go far in life.

I think that Kendall is a sweet 16 year old girl. There are MANY 16 year olds who get more expensive cars than her range rover. She has a right to get a car for her 16th birthday. I think she showed she was a very unselfish girl by giving her presents away to sick children. I do not know very many 16 year olds that would give ALL of their presents away. I also think it is sad that there are adults on here bashing a child. I do agree that the Kardashians seem to be a little extra money hungry these days. I think that Khloe and Lamar are a down to earth and loving couple. They both "give" quietly to so many people. It is NOT done for publicity. I think that EVERY family has drama and make mistakes............. everyone just sees the Kardashians. I also think Courtney AND Scott are acting like mature and loving parents......... much better than alot of parents I have seen out there...........and lastly......... I do not think that Kim gave her marriage as much of a chance as I think she should have BUT I absolutely believe she thought she loved Humphries and he WAS a jerk to her from day one :(.....I think we can all agree that they are extremely entertaining to watch. :)
Actually Khloe is not all that bad. She has been going to the Childrens Hospital for years and she never paraded that in the media. Khloe was the one who took Kendall to the Children's hospital. That is how Kendall got started with that. But I don't care Kendall deserves to keep her car she has earned it. What 16 year old do you know would have a party and tell an adult that alcohol was being snuck in? Not very many these days.
She is not a Kardashian by any means. She is a Jenner 100%, unfortunately she is related to the Kardashians ho, ho, ho's.......I just hope she can keep her head above and not let her mother pimp her out, the way she does the other ones.
I hope the two youngest turn out to be different than their sl u t ty big sisters and their greedy, money-grubbing monster of a mother.

Yes give Kendall a break! I think it was a great action she took to give her gifts to the children stuck in a hospital and don't have the lavish things she is priveldge to & I think she is more down to earth than her sisters because Bruce Jenner has more control since she is his biological daughter. He may love the Kardashian girls but Kris Jenner exploits them and when the 10% that she gets is stopped she will have a reality check. All families have issues but they forget that they where they came from especially Kim!
