Kris Jenner: Kim Kardashian "Didn't Make a Dime" Off Her Wedding

Mom knows best, but Kris Jenner's also aware that Kim Kardashian is an adult capable of making her own decisions!
In an interview with Johnjay and Rich on Tuesday, Jenner, 55, said it was "of course" news to her when Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries on Monday after 72 days of marriage.

"Kim had to make a very difficult decision," Jenner told Johnjay and Rich. "But she needed to do that on her own. You know, she's not 5 years old. She's a 30-year-old woman who definitely needs my support right now." (Kardashian actually turned 31 on Oct. 21.) "[But] whatever her decision was at the time, I'm just here to support her as her mom and make sure she's okay today," Jenner said.
"[Kim's] not the first person in the world to get a divorce or have something like this happen to, and she won't be the last," the Kardashian matriarch added. "She just happens to be a very public person with a couple of television shows on the air so it makes it bigger than life."

One rumor Jenner would like to dispel is that her daughter "made millions" off of her two-part wedding special, Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, that premiered on E! earlier this month.
"She didn't make a dime off of this wedding," Jenner said. "She actually spent millions of dollars on this wedding, so it's not something that she thought would ever not be happily ever after."

But Jenner has no hard feelings towards E!. "We have the most amazing network in the world," she gushed. "They feel so bad for Kim as a person. This is about a human being. It's not about necessarily a television show. They've been so supportive and so wonderful to us."
When asked by Johnjay and Rich whether Kardashian and Humphries, 26, should've tried counseling or working out their issues before calling it quits, Jenner spoke from personal experience. "I met and married Bruce [Jenner] in five months. And it's 20 years later, and we're still going strong," she explained. "Obviously, I feel that way about marriage. It has its ups and downs."

"But Kim felt this was the decision for her," she added. "I can't judge her. I can't speculate for her, I can just love her… It's just a horrible, horrible situation. I feel bad for the kids."
As for the wedding gifts Kim and Humphries received? "I'm sure Kim will make a ginormous donation, as she does all the time anyway, very quietly, to a wonderfully deserving charity or children's hospital or something like that," her mom said.

"People just have to stop judging," Jenner added. "Take a step back. Let Kim do what she needs to do and just be supportive. It's not easy."

Hey people, did you ever have a converstaion with someone that made you feel sick to your stomach as you knew they were lying about everything coming out of their mouth. Well, that is how I felt listening to Chris Jenner speak as a guest on several TV shows I watch. This womens persona was obviously phony and a continuation of the wedding sham. Kim shoud return the ring, as she accepted it under false pretenses,, knowing damn well her intentions were to end the marraige before she got married. Kim claims she went through with the marriage for her fans and didn't want to disappoint anyone. Is that a reason to marry, keep the gifts and the ring? Kim claims she'll donate what the gifts are worth to a charity, how does she know what there worth as she took off to overseas after 72 days of marraige. The Kardashians are nothing but money hungry, greedy, selfish, low lfie white trash. Poor Kris Humphries, didn't see it coming. No wonder his parents did't like Kim, they saw right through her.
Stupid fake ass people... why don't they take the millions they made off this spectacle and donate it to a worthwhile cause..like pediatric cancer. Maybe we will be lucky and she will be eaten by a dingo in the Australian outback and we don't have to see her botox injected face any more.

What a crock. read the people mag and see what they paid kim and kris just for the wedding photos and there is the cake and flowers and honeymoon shots also. don't worry that family does nothing if they are not going to get paid for it.......sure puts a sour taste in your mouth when it come to believing anything about this family from now on. we do need to stop watching them and buying their stuff and just make them go away and have to live like the rest of us......
Boycott the show if you don't like it. Do not buy from their sponsors. This show needs to be cancelled and something else interesting put in its place. This is just a greedy superficial family and we are making them richer by watching the show.

The biggest problem in the Kardashian family is the MOTHER OR SUPPOSED MOTHER WHO WANTS MONEY , MONEY , MONEY AND WILL USE ANY OF HER CHILDREN TO GET IT.I read over and over how much they were making off the wedding and the wedding according to alot of people I have been listening to on different tv shows say the wedding was totally donated from the flowers to the cars to the mansion and wolf gang puck doing the cooking and all jewelry was lent out for the wedding.Kris Jenner has nothing to hold her head high about----she is nothing but a greedy manager who tells all her girls what to includeing I am sure Kim that she needed to divorce Kris because he wasnt from there world.Kim told him that to his face on the show before they got married.Kim Kardashian LOVES herself and will do anything to get in the limelight.Kim says she wants a man for a husband no she doesnt she wants a copy of Scott and Bruce who do as they are told.Scott I dont blame he wants to lead the good life and they always put him down and yes I know there are times he acts out of control thats on Kourtney if you dont like it drophim.I dont think Kourtney wants marriage anyway she likes her life and wants to do things her way.Bruce is another case--he has two beautiful young daughters 14-and just 16 today who he needs to get control of and stop there suppose mother from ruining them like she did her other daughters.Bruce didnt even know Kendall was modeling bikinis and razy lounging apparel.He needs to wake up and save those girls or the next you know Kris there dear mother will have them scheduled to do a playboy centerfold.I also hope Rob who is always being put down by the family can wake and use good usc education his looks and make a fine life for himself.I will admill I used to turn the Kardashians on once a week but after what I saw and heard and all the disrespect I wasnt raised like that.We were taught to treat eveerybody with respect.I am done and I hope alot more people think about what your children are watching and make them stop.The president of the united states says the kardashian girls are not the kind of women he wants his daughters to look up to.Even good old jusdge judy told a mother please dont think the kardashians are any kind of role model for your daughter and keep her away from that kind of life!!!!!
@Sheryl... you are so right apparently 1.5 millions dollars doesn't really count in their book. It is ridiculous that Kris Jenner thinks some of the decisions that he daughter makes are okay. I think Kim needs to do some serious like re-evalutaions and figure what it most important.

I guess that what 1.5 million from the magazine was such a small amount that it does not count as making anything from the wedding. These people really think who they are. Time to say Kardashians over and out..... Seems they will doing anything for the all mighty dollar. So sad......

Since Kim Kardashian willingly puts her life story on television, she is giving the public permission to judge her. She has the option of what to show on her show, and she still chooses the show things that portray her negatively. This marriage was a joke, and doomed from the beginning. The family can't honestly expect this to be brushed under the rig because divorces happen everyday, she is a celebrity who wants the fame. Well she definitely getting the publicity now, which is exactly how she likes it.
If I were a wedding guest, I'd be pi$$ed off! If she had any decency, she would send all the gifts back (and any shower gifts), AND give a charitable donation in each guests names. But we know that won't happen.
