Kristen Bell is headed back to TV!

The former Veronica Mars star, 30, has joined the cast of Showtime's new pilot House of Lies, starring Iron Man 2's Don Cheadle.

Executive produced and written by Dirt's Matthew Carnahan, the half-hour dark comedy is based on the tell-all book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time by Martin Kihn.

Bell will play Jeannie Van Der Hooven, an Ivy-League grad who works for Cheadle's character at a top-tier management consulting firm. Heroes' Dawn Oliveri, actor Josh Lawson, comedian Ben Schwartz, actor Donis Leonard Jr. and In Treatment's Glynn Turman round out the cast.

Production for the series will begin in February in NYC and L.A.
