Wiig, 38, both starred in and co-wrote the screenplay for the blockbuster comedy (which still stands a chance of scoring Oscar nominations when the Academy unveils its picks next week) and, according to her, once was enough.

"We're not planning on doing one," Wiig told E! News at Sunday's Golden Globes. "We had a special time making the first one, but we're really excited to try something else."
Instead, Wiig and Bridesmaids cowriter Annie Mumolo are writing a new script, she told E! "It's going to be a little bit of a different tone," she teased. "But it's going to be a comedy, for sure."
