Exclusive Video: Lauren Conrad Gives Dramatic Reading of New Book
Lauren Conrad may have walked away from the drama on The Hills, but that didn't stop her from taking part in a dramatic reading of her new book, Sweet Little Lies, with Tyra Banks.

While visiting The Tyra Show (in an episode airing Tuesday), the reality-star-turned-author, 24, flipped to a page in her second young-adult novel and began reading.
"'Jessie, give me your keys. You can't drive right now. You're too drunk,' she said firmly," Conrad read.

Banks then took a turn at reading, and Conrad was more than a little surprised at her interpretation. (Watch clip above.)
Her new book -- a follow-up to her New York Times bestselling first novel, L.A. Candy -- just reached the top of the New York Times Best-Seller List again in the Children's Chapter Books category after only being on bookshelves for less than a month.

OMG Tyra is such a re-tard! What is going on w/ her hair? It looks so stupid. All the Hills people are stupid. Lc has no personality and is boring. Franken-Heidi looks scary now and gave me nightmares last night. Seriously, I dreamed she was chasing me through a field w/ her bloody plastic surgery knives. Spencer can be mildly entertaining, but only mildly and only for 2 minutes at a time (total air time on a Hills episode)
really yeah her best seller is a book that is going nowhere right?? i've never even heard any of heidi's songs before. i can already tell thought that she has a shitty voice with no career ahead of her!
Heidi is so freakin disgusting she literally looks like a circus freak with all that plastic surgery. Spencer and her are so completely deranged and it is so pathetic and sick to see them scrambling so desperately to keep themselves in the limelight. The next thing they are going to have to do to put themselves back in the news is to both commit suicide, which is a very good idea.
Sure, Spencer writing two best sellers and a having a clothing line that sells is not an achievement. But having tons of plastic surgery to stay in the limelight is, what a role model.
Hey Spencer, heidi can't even read a book let alone write one. She road Lauren coattail onto the show and made a mockery of herself by marrying you! And now she looks like a circus freak! If you consider that star status, wake the fu$k up!
LC will never achieve the star status that Heidi has, she is awesome and she is talented, what has LC done??? Write a stupid book that won't go anywhere, Heidi is on the road to stardom eat her dust LC!
