Video: Madonna Stumbles During Energetic Super Bowl Halftime Show
Madonna's black stiletto thigh-high boots may have looked stunning during Sunday's Super Bowl halftime performance, but as it turns out, they weren't the safest footwear when it came to dancing up a storm.

As the clip above shows, the 53-year-old pop diva belted out her 2000 hit "Music" with an assist from dancers in white track suits, but nearly took a tumble while dancing atop bleachers on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Recovering without missing a beat, Madonna went on to close the show performing "Like a Prayer" with Cee Lo Green.

8Nobody saw any slip up, until you played that 2 seconds for us. Madonna was at her BEST! Off balance, maybe, but not a stumble. WOW, pretty good, and the rest was PERFECT. She works her butt off and it shows. Self made Woman. We don't have to worry about her- she can support herself. Like a BOSS! She's done it all.
Well its like this, you never know when you are going to perform on such a Huge Event as the SuperBowl anything can happen remember the JanetJackson incident no one saw that coming so my props go out to my girl Madonna 53 looking fabulous as always that stumble didn't stop her to do her thang she still brought it, loved it Madonna did not let that little stumble ruin her performance at all, she is a pro and knows how to go with the unexpected sht happens she wasnt gonna let that stop her from doing her thang, you go girl!
I'm 40 and I could neeeeeever even get my feet in, or attempt to walk in those shoes so I say awesome job Madonna! I liked the latter part of her performance a little better, I did thinkmthe red haired Afro gladiator sandal tightrope walkin guy was more circus like than cool but either way, so much better than recent super bowl performances and she is just gorgeous, talented and pure class! And WTF doesn't lip synch piers u freak?
I understood that she was performing with a sprained ankle...could account for the slight stumble. I didn't even notice it during the live show.
