First Lady Michelle Obama is set to make her reality TV debut on an episode of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Us Weekly has confirmed.

Taping her appearance Thursday in Fayetteville, N.C., Obama, 47, will assist with the renovation of a community center for homeless female veterans. Her appearance, as part of her "Joining Forces" initiative with Dr. Jill Biden, will air on ABC's Sunday night series in October.

Obama's reality TV debut isn't her only small screen endeavor on the docket. She'll also film a cameo for a January 2012 episode of Nickelodeon's iCarly.

"The whole cast is really excited," iCarly's Noah Munck tells Us of the First Lady's appearance. "I haven't heard of a Nick show that had a presidential figure on it yet, so it was really, really startling and totally cool."
