For Modern Family's Sarah Hyland, celebrating her 21st birthday was so fun that she did it twice!
Though the star technically became legal on Thanksgiving, she indulged in a second birthday fete Saturday at Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
"[This year, I was] like, 'let's not celebrate my birthday on Thanksgiving, 'cause Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Let's eat Thanksgiving food and sleep in [on that day].' Now I'm actually celebrating my birthday the right way," Hyland told Us Weekly at Saturday's bash, where she was joined by her boyfriend, Matt Prokop.
Having already gifted her a cake on the Modern Family set along with the entire cast, Hyland's costar Julie Bowen made sure the newly-minted 21-year-old's weekend celebration was extra-special, and sent her an added surprise: A bottle of Peligroso Tequila!
"Even if I'm not planning on drinking for the night and my friends are going out, I don't have to worry and be like 'well I can't go there,'" says Hyland, who plays Haley Dunphy on ABC's primetime hit.
One of Hyland's first night out stops now that she's of age? Adults-only bowling! "I'm really excited to go to Lucky Strike Bowling because it's 21 and up. I love bowling," she enthused to Us. "I'm awful at it, so it's just nice to have the liberty of going places."
