Neve Campbell to Return for Scream 4

Neve Campbell is set to Scream again!
According to a Variety report Friday, the actress, 35, just inked a deal to return in the lead role of the horror film franchise for its fourth installment, to begin filming next spring.
Campbell joins previously confirmed cast members David Arquette and Courteney Cox-Arquette, who are reprising their roles as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers.

Despite rumors earlier this year that Cambell would not reprise her role and that her character would be killed off, Arquette held out hope for her return.

"I would love for her to come back, it'd be a bummer if she doesn't. But I also understand people's decisions," Arquette told RadarOnline.com.
The Scream trilogy has grossed more than $200 million to date.

Neve Campbell wil hopefully be in scream 4, i'm obsessed with all the scream movies and a scream movie is not a scream movie if she is not in it!!!! if were lucky the whole original cast will be in this movie! if she isnt in this movie the movie will be crap!!! And billy nshould make a comeback and be in this movie as well !!!

im so happy that ur doing a fourth one. But how are u going to make it work. What i think is that sidney shouldnt die beacuse she is the main chararcter. That how are u supposed to bring back billy and stew when they died in the first on.What i think is that u should like have them just comeback in a way that isnt confuseing. Neve has agreed to come back because they are finally tying up all the storylines in this next film. One recurring theme in every chapter of Scream was motherhood, (Sidney’s mother, Billy’s mother, Sidney’s half-brother’s lack of a mother) and finally Sidney will be facing her worst threat yet while trying to rescue the closest person to her heart..her daughter. The first scene in the 4th film has been said to involve a babysitter watching a girl and being hunted by the new killer, and the parents coming home just in time to save their daughter. The mother being revealed as Sidney herself. The film will take place in a gated community in southern California, with the new killer hunting down Sidney’s family and her surrounding housewife/family neighbors. Gale and Dewey have obviously married but are sticking to the ‘motherhood’ theme as well…they are having a tremendous struggle bearing children. Gale has fears that she is barren, and attaches herself to Sidney’s young daughter strongly because of this. *SPOILERS* The killer is also being talked about as a mother herself. Yes a woman! In the beginning there is a flashback scene involving Sidney in a nasty car accident while she was pregnant and she has recurring dreams about this as it was the biggest threat against her then unborn daughter. At the end of the film, the killer is revealed to be one of the housewife neighbors that is one of the many new characters that are introduced in the film. This ‘housewife’ has been carefully planning her attack ever since Sidney hit HER in the car accident. She was pregnant as well..and the crash killed her unborn child. Unable to conceive as a result of this, she makes it her vendetta to take from Sidney what she rightfully deserves. A daughter of her very own.

She has got to be one of the strangest looking women in Hollywood. Her face is so.. harsh I guess, just unattractive. Years ago, I thought it would help if she thinned her bushy eye brows, but she has done that and she is still harsh looking.
I kinda think Neve's doing this for the money, too, sort of like Heather Locklear going back to Melrose. I like both of these ladies and am happy they are doing it just to see them on-screen again. We all have taken jobs for the money sometimes and as you age in Hollywood it only gets harder for screen time I am sure.
i love the scream movies, ihave all 3 and still watch them, and i am so excited that neve campbell and david and courtney cox arquette are going to be in them, i will definetly watch, but i hope that dewey is not the killer, wow i think i am going to go watch scream again now...LOL

I always thought they would make another Scream years later too. The 1st and 3rd Scream are the best, I hope this one is gonna be better than the 2nd one. PLEASE DON'T KILL DEWEY!!!!
I have always said that if there was ever a 4th Scream made then it should be years later and Sydney would go insane and SHE should be the killer and Dewey has to kill her in the end.

Neve is doing it because her career is in the dumpster and she needs the money. The 3rd installment of this franchise sucked why would we want a 4th?
