Dobrev was caught off guard when her TVD family snuck up behind her with cake and silly string while on set with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. She screamed, got cake in the face — and even fought back!

"Because I deserved it. #Caked," the 26-year-old captioned a video of the prank. "6 years of pranks… It was bound to bite me (No pun intended) in the ass eventually. #caked #lastday."

Dobrev's stunning violet dress may have needed a trip to the dry cleaners after the mess, but the actress didn't seem to mind. Before saying goodbye to Mystic Falls for good, she also gave her costars and crew personalized clapboards. Each had her signature, her nickname "Looch," and a dedication to TVD's late camera assistant Sarah Jones, who died in a train accident while working on the film Midnight Rider in February 2014.
