Word up!

Olivia Wilde is joining forces with her pal Bradley Cooper -- in a new film, that is.

Variety reports that Wilde, 27, has just been cast in the ensemble cast of dramatic thriller The Words, which stars Cooper, 36, plus Jeremy Irons, Zoe Saldana, Dennis Quaid, and Prince Caspian's Ben Barnes, among others. Unfortunately, Wilde and Cooper don't share any scenes together in the high-profile flick, directed by Tron: Legacy screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal.

The duo are already acquainted offscreen, however. They met when Wilde read for a part in Cooper's film Limitless -- and both reconnected after their high-profile splits (she with husband Tao Ruspoli, he with girlfriend Renee Zellweger).

Eyewitnesses told Us the twosome were inseparable and flirty at two recent NYC bashes.

"Olivia is single and not dating Bradley," Wilde's rep says.
