Nashville-bred crooner Gabe Dixon has already earned his musical stripes. The singer-songwriter has already backed up Sir Paul McCartney, penned "Find My Way," the theme for the Sandra Bullock-Ryan Reynolds flick "The Proposal," and got Alison Krauss to play on his new album, One Spark (out now).

So what else does he have up his sleeve? Check this out: A rare live performance of his ballad "Even The Rain."

As Dixon explains it: "I wrote "Even The Rain" in my hometown of Nashville with the incredibly talented Tia Sillers. We wanted to capture that exact moment when two people are falling in love. In the song, I'm singing to someone who, to me, seems to have supernatural powers -- but it's not clear. What is clear is that I'm helplessly falling in love. I have been fortunate enough to perform in the past with Alison Krauss & Union Station, so I asked Alison to sing on this song. She said yes! What an honor! She is such an awesome talent.”
