Is Paula Abdul joining an updated Star Search?
She's not confirming it -- or denying it.

Earlier this week, Entertainment Weekly reported that Abdul, 47, was "finalizing a deal" to star in a reboot of the 1980s-era talent competition, which was hosted by the late Ed McMahon.

The show would premiere this summer and feature Abdul as a combination judge and host, EW.com reported. A rep for ABC did not comment.
Ellen DeGeneres replaced Abdul as a judge on American Idol this season.
Abdul was also rumored to compete on Dancing With the Stars, and be a judge on Simon Cowell's X Factor.
