The captivating drama about polygamist Bill (Bill Paxton) and his three unpredictable wives maintains its groundbreaking spirit in its final round. Bill pushes to legalize multimarriage, while first missus Barb (the series' soul center, Jeanne Tripplehorn) ponders Mormon priesthood. The angsty story lines occasionally meander, but the shocking ending leaves a mark. (HB0, $60)
