Us Rating: ***

If the Black Eyed Peas threw the ultimate rave on their blockbuster 2009 disc, The E.N.D., the follow-up serves as its somewhat mellower afterparty. Though it's devoid of "I Gotta Feeling"-level hooks, the hip-pop gang of four rock a blippy beat and swagger-heavy vibe, from the Dirty Dancing-sampling single "The Time (Dirty Bit)" to the synth-strewn "Play It Loud," which evokes their former tourmates U2.
