Don't waste 80 minutes of the busy holiday season watching uptight couples bicker in a Brooklyn living room. Though the premise -- after two boys get in a fight, their parents (Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly, and Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz) meet and try to make peace -- made for an absorbing play, it grates on the big screen. Still, Waltz remains the gold standard of icy villainy.
