"I'm out of character!" Christina Aguilera crows on her fourth studio CD's first single, "Not Myself Tonight." Well, yeah -- the seasoned singer doesn't need to crib quite so much from Lady Gaga's raciness, M.I.A.'s rapping and Beyonce's braggadocio this time out. When she simply unleashes her prodigious pipes on the ballads (like "All I Need"), it's classic Xtina. (RCA)

10I actually read a really interesting review of Bionic at TheCelebrityCafe...thought I would share! I heard the album and enjoyed it just as much as the review I read recently about it.
she is so f**k artist ever! lol
she has no originality...such an idiot savant..imitator!
I'm 56 years old and I love Bionic. I believe Christina has the best voice of all the singers out. I'm so sick of lady gaga, all her stupid costumes are getting old. Lady Gaga hides behind all that crap she wears. Christina is the best!
The mention of Lady GaGa in some of these reviews is truly lazy... this album musically doesn't sound a thing like GaGa who btw doesn't eve have a very distinctive sound. Lady GaGa makes the most generic pop records with ridiculous lyrics.
2 1/2 stars? That must mean it's out of 3! =D I love this album. I cannot stop listening to it and it's not even in my hands yet. It's fun, funky, as heart, and does not disappoint. I'm so glad I bought the Limited Edition package!
when i was going trough i really tought she was an old lady omg!.. it was christina aguilera.granny hair & too much make-up
I've really warmed up to this album & have been listening to it for the past two days via facebook. favorite tracks: I hate boys, I AM, Vanity, Prima Donna, Bionic, You Lost Me It's nice to hear christina do something different from her voice..but i still can't shake the feeling that it feels stale..kinda wished she had released this a few years..
Love this album!
I really like this album. Maybe not quite as much as Back to Basics, but it's a strong entry. Glad to see her continue to work with unexpected artists like MIA and Le Tigre too.
