Even a stellar cast can't save this melodramatic mess. Shot in 2007, it stars Julia Roberts (hubby Danny Moder was the cinematographer) as a fifty-something mom who dies in a car crash, leading her dysfunctional family -- including son Ryan Reynolds -- to rehash years of abuse and affairs. It's torturously solemn and has too many confusing flashbacks.
