Meet Hanna (Atonement's Saoirse Ronan), a 16-year-old trained by her dad (Eric Bana) in remote Finland to become a Jason Bourne-style assassin. Finally released into the outside world, she's pursued by a network of agents -- headed by the ruthless Marissa (played brilliantly and chillingly by Cate Blanchett) -- who want her dead. It's a visually rich thriller (music by the Chemical Brothers ups the adrenaline) topped with powerhouse female performances.
