It turns out Angelina Jolie does not have the market cornered on gun-toting, butt-kicking heroines. In this taut and stylish thriller, husky-voiced newcomer Gina Carano makes an indelible impression as a special-ops agent. After getting double-crossed on a job, she darts around the globe to seek vengeance — and the truth. Along the way, she ruthlessly goes mano a mano with her nefarious colleagues, played by the likes of Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor and, in a titillating after-hours hotel-room scene, Michael Fassbender. Bonus points for Carano's ability to do a headlock in an evening dress and stockings.
