A good girl (Ginnifer Goodwin) beds the fiance (Colin Egglesfield) of her selfish bestie (Kate Hudson) in this sparkle-free comedy. The flick's one redeeming factor: John Krasinski delights as Goodwin's exasperated pal. (Warner Bros., $29)

1This movie blew it on SO many points. First, Kate Hudson as Darcy? No. Darcy is a tall, gorgeous brunette. This matters because Darcy's narcissism stems 90% from her looks. Her looks are central to her personality - which is central to the book. So this had to be cast right for it to work. The producers blew that one big time. Yeah, cast a short blond as Darcy. Good one. Second, Dex is in banking in the book - hot an attorney as in the movie. And it's Dex who first confesses his feelings to Rachel - not the other way around. "Something Borrowed" is one of my favorite books...and the movie got sent to Hell.
