It's a shame so few saw this dark, insightful Mel Gibson comedy, which earned just $6 million. He plays a seriously depressed exec who finds a ratty puppet in a Dumpster and -- yikes -- begins talking through it like a ventriloquist uses a dummy. The newly unpopular actor truly excels in this role as a man fighting mental illness. (Summit, $27)
