This brisk thriller begins in 1997: Secret agent Rachel (Helen Mirren) is lauded for killing a Nazi decades earlier. But did she? Cut to 1965, when a young Rachel (Jessica Chastain) and her partners track their target. Mirren's final battle veers toward the silly, but Chastain brings nuance to her tense scenes. (Miramax, $30)
