Once again, Nick Lachey hosts as 10 a cappella groups compete by singing pop hits (think Justin Bieber's Baby"). Glee fans will get a kick out of the premiere's intro: All the acts join for a rousing rendition of the '70s classic "I've Got the Music in Me." The stiff Lachey and the overly effusive judges -- especially Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger -- need to be sharper, though. After all, only a few of the acts, such as Yale University's famed Whiffenpoofs (who sing in tuxedos!), truly dazzle. (NBC, 8 P.M.)
