Al Pacino nabbed an Emmy for his portrayal of controversial "assisted suicide" activist Dr. Jack Kevorkian, who helped suffering patients willingly kill themselves in the '90s. Though starkly moving, this TV flick is too talky -- and enamored of Jack -- to bring fresh insight to the prickly subject. (HBO, $27)
