Smart, suspenseful and at times terrifying, this pseudodocumentary focuses on Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian), a disillusioned preacher who sets out to make a movie exposing modern-day exorcisms as frauds. He takes a film crew to backwoods Louisiana to meet a farmer who says his teen girl (Ashley Bell) has been possessed. As unique and wellcrafted as The Blair Witch Project, the horror-thriller builds with tension as the "filmmakers" start questioning if demons really do exist -- or if they're witnessing a cover-up.
