Rihanna to Make Acting Debut

For reel: Rihanna has landed her first film role. The singer, 22, has been cast in the movie version of Battleship, E! News reports.
Directed by Peter Berg, the flick is based on the classic board game and stars True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard and Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch as brothers "who end up leading the fight for their planet's survival against an otherworldly force."

Technically, Bring it on: All or Nothing was her being her except with a different name. There was no focusing on being a character other than a celebrity that she is. So it really wasn't acting. This is an opportunity for her to have a real role. Let's see what she can do. She might be a complete fail or be entertaining. Either way, she better wear something sexy so I can drool over her.

I think she should try doing a TV role first before she does movies. Why not do an episode from GLEE, CSI franchise, or Law and Order SVU which should give her a feel of acting.
