Is Sarah Palin about to go Hollywood?
The former Alaska governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate is taking meetings in Tinseltown to produce a TV docudrama about her home state, Entertainment Weekly reports. Palin's partner in crime is Mark Burnett, the successful TV producer behind Survivor, The Apprentice and other blockbusters. One source claims the show would be a "planet-Earth type look" at the chilly state.

EW reports that Palin has already met with executives at ABC, Fox and CBS, with Thursday plans to pitch her show to NBC.
"She's pitching a sequel to Commander in Chief," one executive joked (referring to the defunct ABC series starring Geena Davis as a female President.)

Palin told jokes during a Monday night appearance on The Tonight Show; E! News reports that she also stopped by an Oscar gifting boutique on Tuesday.

Just cause Sarah Palin decides to write another opinionated book on what she thinks "American Values" are doesn't mean they "ARE" American Values. She's someone that was thrust into the limelight from a cold wintry landscape and now decides she knows whats best for everyone. If the title of her book was "My "OPINION" on American Values" then fine, but she ain't going to start telling us how to live our life just because she has some press.

Since global warming impacts are already severe in AK (airports sinking, villages washing away, ice melting, hunters drowning, and on and on--read some news if this is new info), and Sarah doesn't believe in global warming (or dinosaurs, probably), I don't see how in the world she could possibly host a "documentary" on Alaska.
We (the people of this country) feed into the hype given to the Sarah Palins of the world by the attention we give to them, positive and negative. If we didn't watch her, didn't vilify her, didn't laugh at her, but simply let her float her own boat, it wouldn't go far. It doesn't help our current difficult state of affairs to add to anyone's suffering or to make an icon of an ordinary human being. Let's just breathe, get on with our lives, and let Sarah Palin get on with hers. She'll go away soon enough, and by her own hand.
