Things are looking up for Sean Kingston, who was hospitalized May 31 as the result of a serious jet skiing accident in Miami. Currently recuperating at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the 21-year-old singer is expected to make a full recovery within six weeks.

"His condition has been upgraded to serious. Sean is breathing on his own and walked for the first time this morning," his rep tells Us Weekly. "Sean thanks his friends, family and fans for their outpouring of prayers and well wishes."

When Kingston was first hospitalized, the "Eenie Meenie" singer, 21, suffered a broken jaw, fractured wrist and water in his lungs. His passenger, Cassandra Sanchez, was not seriously injured in the crash.
