Lifetime is giving Prince William and Kate Middleton an early wedding gift.
One week before the royal couple ties the knot in London's Westminster Abbey on April 29, the network will air the made-for-TV movie William & Kate, based on the couple's eight-year romance.
According to E! News, newcomer Nico Evers-Swindell has been tapped to portray William. The New Zealand native previously appeared on episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles and Law & Order.
William's father, Prince Charles, will be played by Star Trek alum Ben Cross. The role of Middleton, 29, has yet to be cast.
Mark Rosman -- who has directed episodes of ABC Family's Greek and CBS' Ghost Whisperer -- will direct the film, which is being produced by the Konigsberg Company.
