The Colombian singer, 36, looks flawless in the video alongside the Barbadian-born beauty, 25, who brings her powerhouse vocals into the rock and reggae song in a black long-sleeved leotard. The two scantily-dressed stars smoke cigars, cuddle together, croon to the post–breakup tune, and provocatively slam their arms and bodies against the walls of a luxurious interior.
In the final sequences of the video, baby Milan's mom rocks out on an electric guitar and jams out on the drums as she emotionally belts out the song's lyrics: "I'd give my last dime to hold him tonight, I do anything for that boy."
As of Friday afternoon, the music video had generated more than 6 million views in less than 24 hours on Vevo. Among its many viewers, fellow singer Kelly Clarkson and NBA star LeBron James commented Thursday night: "Oh Lord not even on my best day could I pull this off ha!" the "Miss Independent" singer tweeted shortly after the video debuted on Vevo Thursday night. "God definitely took more time molding you two!"
James commented, "Shakira & Rihanna though!?!? They should have kept that to themselves. Not fair to mankind! Lol." Both singers responded to the Heat forward's comments with Shakira quipping, "When I grow up I want to be like you! Big fan!!" Her partner-in-crime, meanwhile, re-tweeted his words and simply responded, "The KING!!!"
